Why I love To Crochet…

They handed the hats out too the iraqy kids , From what I was told from the solilder the kids loved them and had smiles all over there faces. and the solider was surprised with the afghan and the pilliow .. later on he wanted me make his mom one so of course I did.

So few weeks later I had gotten this box in the mail I opened it up and was an reward from over there for making those hats for those kids.
heres the reward.

Even it was few years ago when I done this Im still proud that i did that.
I thank God everyday for giving me this talent to crochet ,so that gives me a chance to help others out to put smiles on there faces.. even now I make things for people and give it to them and they dont see it coming til after i put it in there hands and they so happy they have tears rolling down there faces. As longs im helping others out and putting smiles on faces ,Im happy!

2 of the cats was abused severly from an person lives near me they died.

I think of my nana at tymes certains things that I do that she use to do memories comes back to me heavy.
I found a pair of Jeans that is to small for me but they were to cute to throw out the door..

A friend of mine called me Saturday and asked me to crochet her American flag afghan For her,to give her Soldier that she adopted thru angel Solders..I thought that was very sweet of her doing that for the solder , Solders do desrve an friend and they deserve our support,They deserve something special esp homemade coming from home every now and then. It brings a smile to there faces knowing theres someone that they dont even know is at least is thinking of them and putting a thought to them.
and still working on the Confederate flag afghan.

I havent done anything but layed around take naps after naps and took meds and more naps and listen to the rain outside hitting the windows.
I got an bad bad head cold and hadnt felt like doing anything and the rain and been an gloomy day dont help.

I havent even picked up an crochet hook:( and that must be bad and whats even bad hadnt even picked up in the house.
thats not me at all I have an OCD in cleaning house and crocheting.

Ive been wanting too share this to yall,But I don't wont anyone think im braging are anything.Im just wanting to share this story cause im very proud.

Ive always wanted too use my crochet talent in helping other people out. it really didnt matter how {nursing homes,homeless people on the street, iraqy kids it didnt matter as longs it was helping someone out ,I always like seeing people that was so down and depressed to bring smile on there faces .
I never once wanted anything back in return the smile on there faces was my return.
So I prayed and prayed that one day I will meet this goal of mine.
This soilder had came across my blog and contacted me by email and asked me would I be interesed making hats and donating them too Iraqy kids.
Well I was soooo Happy cause my prayers was anwsered
I said sure. I made over 200 hats and I also Made the soilder that asked me and American flag afghan and a matching

pilliow to go with it and sent it all over there too him
They handed the hats out too the iraqy kids , From what I was told from the solilder the kids loved them and had smiles all over there faces. and the solider was surprised with the afghan and the pilliow .. later on he wanted me make his mom one so of course I did.

So few weeks later I had gotten this box in the mail I opened it up and was an reward from over there for making those hats for those kids.
heres the reward.
And not only that I gotten an Iraqy dollar,which i thought was cool to put up for keeps.
I got it folded up in an plastic sleeve so nothing will happen to it.
Even it was few years ago when I done this Im still proud that i did that.
I thank God everyday for giving me this talent to crochet ,so that gives me a chance to help others out to put smiles on there faces.. even now I make things for people and give it to them and they dont see it coming til after i put it in there hands and they so happy they have tears rolling down there faces. As longs im helping others out and putting smiles on faces ,Im happy!
And thats My Story why I love crocheting!

Heres an anther recipe I want too share.

Hamburger Casserole

1lb ground beef
1med chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
3 med size potatoes ,chopped
1/2lb cheddar shredded cheese
1can water

Brown your ground meat til brown then drain off grease.
Layer the ingredents in a casserole dish. starting with ground beef,potatoes and onions,top it with shredded cheese.Mix soup with water and pour over the cheese .Bake in 350 degrees oven
for 20 to 30 mins

Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese Pie
I gotten this recipe out of my grandmas recipe book
and its sooo good!!
So I thought I would share it with yall

1 (8 oz) Box of elbow macaroni
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 stick of butter
4c sharp cheddar cheese shredded
1 1/2 c milk
2 eggs
Salt and pepper

Cook the macaroni. Mix all the ongredents together.
layer it in crockpot.cook for 3 to 4 hrs on low.

what an great day ive had

Well today was an great day..
well the begin with my moms b/f calls up said theres a nice section couch near ya for free
and I was like What?lol
so my hubby and I rushed around and went an looked at it . we was pleased and had to have it.
it looked alot nicer then what we had and it was free so you cant beat that right?
not to mention we had to make 2 trips to get it cause both pieces wont fit in back of the van lol
and on the 2nd trip we almost run out of gas lol but we made it too the gas station.
Thats not all..
Someone called about the 3 pups today.

Arent they cute?
well a very nice couple came over today, After they been 3 different counties today looking for a
puppie. was trying to decide which pup did they want ..she picked this onewell I decided to tell the lady that we named the pup boogie
the lady started to cry she said God meant for her to have this pup cause she just lost
a dog that she had 10 yrs and its name was boogie.
my hubby an I gotten teary eyed.

Well we needed anther Christmas tree ,so went gotten anther Christmas tree
and came home to put it up and decorated it.
That was my fun an good day.Excepts i do miss boogie though.but i know
she does now have a good home.
